Dirk Denzer has produced, staged and held the International Variety Festival six times since 2004. Always with great success, as shown by the sold-out performances on ten event days (plus an additional event due to high demand) with up to 15,000 visitors.
In the huge four-mast tent, both some of the world’s best-known artists in their genres and still little-known talents offer a cross-section of the world of modern and sophisticated variety entertainment in various theme-based shows. Shows that have so far been offered are the variety show “Traumreisen”, a multimedia trip around the world with, the innovative stage production “Avant-garde”, the modern industry variety show “Traumschmiede”, “Musica”, a musical variety spectacle, the magnificent “Magic Moments” variety spectacle, “Comedy Night”, the “Wasserwelten” aqua variety performance as well as the variety experience family day around the marquee and the celebratory final gala with highlights from the festival and new variety stars.
More than 150 artists from throughout the world are involved per festival to perfectly embody the various themes. Artists who cover a broad range of the diverse variety art with their individual acts and innovative ideas. They are stars of their industry or even highly talented newcomers. With a large audience at every event and national media interest, the International Variety Festival is an outstanding marketing instrument for cities and regions as well as for cooperation partners and sponsors, in addition to its cultural importance. Dirk Denzer Performing Arts conceives, holds and markets the International Variety Festival in cooperation with regional event partners.
